2011 Special Events Volunteer

Annual Dan Strauble Memorial Golf Outing: Golf Outing will take place on September 18, 2011 at Mistwood Golf Course in Lake Ann. Golf outing includes pizza prior to the round and barbecue after. Volunteers are needed to help with setting up raffle prizes, pizza lunch, selling raffle tickets at the event, and registration and more.

Festival of Trees Silent Auction of Wreathes and Trees: November 25, 26, 27 at the Benzie Area Historical Museum in Benzonia. Volunteer by donating live trees, decorating a wreath or tree, setting up display, obtaining items for silent auction, and hosting on the days of the event. Prior to the event help is needed to set trees in stands and place on display.

Summer Art and Craft Fairs

Two people are needed per shift to staff the HFHBC booth at the summer fairs. Duties include providing brochures and answering questions about HFHBC, selling HFHBC caps and mugs. Those unfamiliar with Habitat can be paired with a veteran.

Bulk Mailings

Volunteers are needed to help out in the HFHBC office located on James St. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Frankfort. Tasks would be to fold, stuff and sort envelopes in preparation for mailing.
