The ReStore has started it’s Winter Hours, Friday and Saturday, 10-6.  After a great summer and fall, the ReStore has become a great place to shop again and again for many customers. Regular donations to the store have meant that new items are appearing all the time.  We want to thank our great donors, volunteers and customers for a great start in 2010.

The ReStore opened for business on Wednesday, June 2! Store hours weree Wed.-Sat. 10-6.  The store is located at 13998 Honor Highway (US 31), just 3 miles east of Honor at Haze Road (see map below). Telephone # is 325-7750.  ReStores are outlets that accept donated goods for resale to the public at a fraction of the retail price.  All profits generated from the ReStore are used to fund the efforts of our local Habitat affiliate.  Donations are being accepted for construction materials, appliances, furniture, kitchen and bath fixtures, cabinets, light fixtures and ceiling fans, flooring and tools.  Donations are tax deductible and free pick-up is available.  Come check us out and help build homes in Benzie County.

Constuction Supplies For Sale

Habitat ReStores are outlets that accept donated goods for resale. While every ReStore is a little different, most focus on home improvement goods – furniture, home accessories, building materials and appliances. These donated goods are sold to the general public at a fraction of the retail price. Profits are used to further Habitat for Humanity’s Mission to eliminate poverty housing by building safe, decent and affordable housing to people in need.

Materials sold by Habitat ReStores are usually donated by local retailers, contractors and individuals in the community. ReStores provide an environmentally and socially responsible way to keep good, reusable materials out of the waste stream.
